Part of the reason this dish is so wonderful is the full-bodied flavor of the pasta. Since there’s no evaporation in the cooking process, you can cook the pasta directly in the flavors of the dish, instead of just plain old water. And even better? This one-pot dish comes together in only 20 minutes!

Tagliatelle is a traditional type of pasta similar in shape to fettuccine, but really you can make this dish with any kind of pasta. Check your pasta cook time on the box. If it is more than 10 minutes, take the cook time on the box and cut it in half (rounding up to the next minute if needed).

Pro Tip: If the sauce is too watery, add a slurry of 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp cold water. Stir until thickened, returning to Saute as needed.
