The secret is the spice rub, which uses both smoked paprika and chipotle (smoked jalapeno) chili powder to get that smokey-good taste, without the outdoor equipment. Brisket is normally easy to dry out, but with the use of pressure cooking, you always get a moist, tender finished product. It’s Tex-licious!
Serve this Texas-style beef brisket recipe at your next holiday party. With a zesty dry rub and smokey appeal, it’s a fabulous main dish for the holidays. It also makes a wonderful addition to tailgating, game-day, or your next potluck, but is equally at home on the family dinner table.
Pro Tip: Use a flat cut brisket for best results. Amp up the spiciness by adding additional cayenne pepper or by doubling the chipotle chili powder.
