Summer Sorbet

This sweet treat combines everyone’s favorite summer fruits. Enjoy this sorbet by the pool in the heat of the summer, or inside your house in the middle of winter (sometimes it is nice to pretend it is warm outside).

Start by combining all your ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If you want, you can set aside some diced fruit pieces to add back in before freezing the mixture. This step is up to you, but it is a great option if you want a chunky sorbet.

Transfer your mixture to an 8x8in pan or glass dish. Freeze this for at least 3 hours.

When you are ready to eat, scoop it out just how you would with any other kind of ice cream. This recipe serves 4. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • ½ cup milk or milk substitute
  • 3tbsp honey
  • 1 frozen banana

Cake Batter Frozen Yogurt

This is a great treat if you aren’t a big fan of fruity ice cream flavors. Enjoy a healthier alternative for cake batter ice cream. Enjoy the flavor of cake with the texture and temperature of ice cream!

Mix all your ingredients, except for the sprinkles, in a blender or food processor and blend until it is smooth. Once it is all blended, add the sprinkles and stir them in by hand.

Transfer mixture to an 8x8in dish and freeze for at least 3 hours. This recipe makes 4 servings. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 3tbsp honey
  • 1tsp almond extract
  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles

Add all your ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until it is a smooth consistency. Once you are done, transfer the mixture to an 8x8in dish and freeze for at least an hour. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup milk or milk substitute
  • 1tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 2tbsp creamy peanut butter
