The Avocado Toast You Have to Make TODAY

Avocado toast- one of the trendiest foods at the moment. It makes for a great breakfast or a midday snack. This food is so versatile and there are so many ways to make it. 

Here, we have laid out some of our favorite ways to make this dish, but we encourage you to use one of these as a starting point and make your own variations and adjustments to customize the dish and make it perfect for you and your unique taste! Everyone has their own way to make avocado toast, but here are a few of our favorites.

The first step to making avocado toast is simply making your toast. Everyone knows that toast is all about what you put on it, but it is important to start with a solid foundation. Choose whatever kind of bread you would like whether it is white, whole wheat, sourdough, or whatever else you like. You could even get fancy with it and make your toast one a bagel, English muffin,or whatever else you can think of. 

Toast your bread of choice and you are ready to begin following one of our recipes. You can save time by preparing all your ingredients while your bread is toasting. Each recipe is enough for two pieces of toast, but if you only want one piece, you can half the recipe.

Wash your hands, grab your ingredients, grab your supplies, pop your bread in the toaster, and you are ready to get started! 

Spicy Protein Avocado Toast

This is a good choice if you want a toast that is loaded up with protein. This recipe also gives you some spice, but if you don’t like spicy foods, you can just skip that part. 

  1. Mash an avocado in a bowl
  2. Add a salt, pepper, chili pepper, and lime juice, – mix well
  3. Spread the avocado mix over your toast
  4. Cook some ground sausage with a hot sauce of your choice and place on top of avocado mix
  5. Cook your eggs how you like and place on the toast
  6. Top off with some goat cheese
  7. Enjoy!


  • 1 Avocado 
  • Salt, ¼ tsp
  • Pepper, ¼ tsp
  • Chili Pepper, ¼ tsp
  • 1tsp Lime Juice
  • ½ tsp Hot Sauce
  • 3oz Ground Sausage
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2tbsp Goat Cheese 

Veggie Avocado Toast

This is a great option for anyone who follows a vegan or plant-based diet or any veggie-lovers. 

  1. Mash an avocado in a bowl 
  2. Add diced onion, diced tomato, and diced jalapeño (if you do not like spicy food, you can substitute for bell pepper) – mix well
  3. Spread this mix over your toast
  4. Cook some spinach in coconut oil and add to the toast
  5. Top off with some salt and pepper and any other spices you like
  6. Enjoy!
