Here’s how to make Tex-Cajun Fries:

Ingredients:

  • 32 oz. bag of Ore-Ida Crispy Fast Food Fries
  • (2) 15 oz. jars of Tostitos Queso Blanco Dip
  • 12 oz. of roast beef, sliced into bite-sized strips
  • 1 packet McCormick Brown Gravy Mix
  • Creole seasoning

Directions:

  1. Cook the french fries according to directions on the package.
  2. While french fries are cooking, prepare the brown gravy according to the directions on the packet. When the gravy is done, heat up the queso in the microwave according to directions on the jar.
  3. After the french fries have cooked to a golden crisp, sprinkle them with the Creole seasoning. Next, pour half of the fries onto a big round plate and drizzle half of the cooked queso on top of the french fries.
  4. Sprinkle half of the sliced roast beef on top of the fries and queso. Then, drizzle about 1/4 cup of the brown gravy on top.
  5. Pour the remaining fries on top to create a “mountain,” then smother them with the rest of the cooked queso on top.
  6. Drizzle about 1/2 cup of the brown gravy on top. Sprinkle the remaining sliced roast beef on top.
