The Best Brownie Pie

Brownie chocolate pie?! This one was definitely something totally worth making!

Change it up for the holidays and make this rich, beautiful chocolate dessert!

It’s so delicious with ice cream…you might just eat the whole thing by yourself!


Ingredients:

  • 1 Refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 oz Unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 2 oz Semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 3/4 CUP Unsalted butter
  • 1 3/4 CUPS Granulated sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 CUP All purpose flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare pie crust as directed and press into a 9” pie plate. Chill until filling is ready.
  3. Place baking chocolates and butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes depending on your microwave).
  4. Stir sugar into chocolate mixture, then stir in eggs until well mixed. Add the vanilla, cocoa, and salt and stir until smooth, then carefully stir in the flour.
  5. Pour batter into the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 38-48 minutes. About 35 minutes in, I covered the crust with foil to make sure it didn’t get too crispy.
  7. Cool the pie completely before slicing.
  8. I served it with ice cream and chocolate drizzle on top.
  9. Enjoy!
